I’ve finished my mini quilt for this month’s Colour My World Challenge with M-R at Quilt Matters
And I’ve started something I’m thinking I really should have declined.
This week one of my son’s, Adrian, asked me make him two cushions with the logo of his company, Convivium Records, appliqued on it. I’m finding it very tricky and I don’t think it’s going to look great in the end. The straight lines are a scant 1/4 inch wide…I really think it would better to embroider it but now I’ve got this far I’ll press on and see what it ends up like. Perhaps a good iron and some quilting will help.
No other sewing this week but I seem to have an ever growing to-do list so I hope I’ll have some more colourful pieces to show soon.

The bunny mini quilt is amazing. The detail in your stitching is phenomenal. You put me to shame and inspire me at the same time!

The hare is great. If the logo embroidery gets too much, remember I have an embroidery machine and the software to copy anything. You can make the cushion, but I can send you the panels :-)

I feel your pain with the skinny applique – I made six (I think!) bags for mam's school and each had a phrase on that ran to more than thirty letters…took me blooming ages to do! Good luck!
P.S. I love your mini!!

Ooh, yeah – a pain to work with such skinny pieces. It looks good, though! It'll come to life very nicely with the quilting.
