Welcome to Rainbow Hare for a double SAHRR post, with apologies for missing last week.

For Border 3 – Animal Kingdom I have some rows of butterflies.

And for Round 4 – Curves, I have added some applique semi-circles to create a scalloped effect around my centre block.
I think it is looking a bit better in real life than in the photos. The colours in the outdoor ones are much more garish than the fabrics actually are but indoor pictures are too dark and dull…

I really must try to improve my photography skills but, now, I must link up with Wendy at Pieceful Thoughts and reply to my long backlog of emails.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s blocks this weeks and finding out what the new prompt will be tomorrow.
Happy Sewing!

(If you subscribe to my blog by email, firstly, thank you :) Secondly, I really recommend you view the web version because otherwise you end up with a random scramble of photos and I don’t know how to stop that happening).

I love what you did for the curve prompt! Your fabric is so festive and fun, this is such a happy quilt!

You have now given us all permission to go in and modify an earlier round — brilliant what you did there! I love the butterflies, too, and as always Love your quilt. I almost didn’t make this week’s check-in, and should follow your example in that it’s okay to do two weeks at once. Thank you again for introducing me to this fun-get-the-year-started-quilt fun. :)
