Summer has been and gone without a Wool on Sundays.

I hadn’t realised it had been so long since I worked with wool and, even now, this is a miniature project more than a yarn project. It is wool nonetheless.

I did think about making a whole wool shop but all those little balls of wool have taken longer than you might expect so I think it will be fine as part of a General Store or, better still, in a Haberdashery… It is 1:12 scale and is (of course) for the Little Blue Shop, which is progressing slowly but surely.
Now the weather has turned and the temperature has plummeted, I hear my knitting needles and crochet hooks calling to me so perhaps I will have some life size wool projects in progress soon.
I hope the Autumn (or Spring days) will bring you some time for making :)

Oh my goodness, Janine, your little wool corner of the General Store is beyond amazing!! What can I say…..except that the little display of needles, vintage knitting books….and those itty bitty balls are wool are so very clever. Gosh, I am loving what you reveal to us each time, though I fear you are teasing us. =) I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us in all it’s completed whimsy and wonderment.

Your wool shop is sweet, I didn’t realise it was so small until I saw the picture with the ruler beside it! So tidy too! Really lovely,

I can’t get over how wonderful those little yarns are. I can’t wait to see more of the Haberdashery.
