Wool on Sundays – 153 (knitter in progress)

Welcome to Wool on Sundays :)

Have you had a yarnful month?

I think if there were a prize for the smallest bit knitting in a month (not counting months of no knitting at all) I would win! It has been very hot here, the garden is still on-going (though I am hoping an end – to the extent extent that gardens ever end – is in sight) and the hours of darkness, when I finally get to do anything to do with with crafting or blogland, are very short so all I have managed to work on recently is little bits and pieces of my stitching project, which I showed snippets of in my last post. Some knitting is done but the knitter is still in progress and she says she feels shy about apearing in a post without any face or hair!

She also has a label which, though not knitted, is knitting themed…

I’m enjoying this stitching project because it gives me something to plan whilst I’m gardening and it contains a variety of ideas and techniques so I’m managing not to get bored of it even though it’s progressing so slowly. I hope during June I will get back to normal and be here more often. In the meantime, if you have any wool or yarn projects, small or large, I’d love you to link up.

The rules, as usual, are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). MOST IMPORTANT visit anyone else who links. The next Wool on Sundays will be on Sunday 1st July.

Oh, how adorable! How sad ‘she’ doesn’t want you to show her face. I look forward to meeting her in the near future. I understand perfectly re her sensitivities about not being seen until her locks are beautifully coiffured.

Oh my gosh I love this little stitcherie with the knitting on her lap – is this your own pattern or from somewhere I can find it as it looks like heaps of fun!
I’ll link up once I’ve added the link to my current post – I’d totally forgotten it was already June since we’ve had such a busy time with the moving
