Exactly one month ago I received my wonderful Free Two Be top. You can see more detail pictures (unquilted) here. I thought about adding borders with the siggy blocks but, as I want to hang this in my sewing room and it’s quite large already, I decided just to bind it in Kona Pepper. I’m planning to make the siggy blocks into fabric postcards and pin them on so I still have that to do but the quilt itself is finished!
With the quilting my aim was to hold the layers together without distracting from the beautiful fabrics and wonderful piecing.
This is how my block grew into a fabulous quilt:
And these are the wonderful ladies of the Free Two Bee who grew it:
Jan, aka stampqnjlr
Kerry, aka pennydogaccessories
Dena, aka denawayne
Thea, aka TheaM1
Brittany, aka RabidChipmunks
Elizabeth, aka Runs w/ Scissors
Thanks so much to my fantastic Bee friends!
I think this is my favourite Friday Finish ever!

I love all the blocks, but I think my faves are your starting block and the spools

Such a beautiful quilt. The little girl under the umbrella reminds me of the Morton salt girl….”when it rains, it pours.”

Hey Janine – looks like google had turned off my email. It's been a tough week with them since they “dumped me” for being a spammer. I think I fixed it, would you like me know if this comment comes up no-reply too? (Thanks again for letting me know!)

Oh – by the way – I was NOT a spammer. It appears that lots of google activity = TOS violation. Long story – but I'M NOT GUILTY! :D
