Today I made two cushion covers and used up some scraps to the bitter end!
This one was my Texas Star block. It measures 17 inches.
And this one was my practice at making waves before I had an fmq foot. It measures 13 inches. This border was meant to be for the star cushion but I just couldn’t stretch my scraps of these prints any further. I had thought about making this practice piece into a cushion before but I never could find a binding that looked ok. So I was very happy because I was able to complete both without wasting any fabric :)
Then I popped over to Quilt Story to have a look at the entries for Fabric Tuesday and I saw they had featured my Table Runner from last week and that made me extra double happy!
Why not visit her site for some fab decorating inspiration?
Hope you are having a happy day :)

They both look great, but I LOVE the quilting on the Texas star! I can't believe they were made from scraps, really brave to start not knowing if you had enough!
