I’m going to hold the most spectacular party, I said.

Mrs Hare said nothing but, given that we were in the midst of being beset by the things-to-stop-Janine-sewing trials, I could imagine what she was thinking…….I imagined she was thinking, pigs might fly…….Yes, I thought…….Yes……They might.

So I changed the writing on the wall and stitched up a couple of flying pigs out of felt scraps.
And, once you have flying pigs, anything can happen.

All you have to do start and see what pops into your head next.
I had quite a lot of felt and some dowel and some gold paint and some colourful bells…

…and now I have a start on some magical wands.

Happy Sewing!

(If you subscribe to my blog by email, firstly, thank you :) Secondly, I really recommend you view the web version because otherwise you end up with a random scramble of photos and I don’t know how to stop that happening).

Perfect for this week of chaos and scrambling to get things done: pigs can fly when they are written out so nicely on your wall! And I love the magic wands. I’m thinking they are destined for the grandchildren, who will just love them!
