Thursday’s Child – Curiosity

“I’m bored,” said the girl.

“The cure for boredom is curiosity,” said the Hare.

“What is the cure for curiosity?” asked the girl.

“There is no cure for curiosity,” said the Hare.

“Then I shall always follow my curiosity,” said the girl.

A small story inspired by the following quotations:

‘The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity’. Dorothy Parker(attributed)
US author, humorist, poet, & wit (1893 – 1967) Source

and

I made the decision while I was 30 that I was going to follow my curiosity and the things that fascinated me. And as long as I’m doing that, I feel like a version of myself that I want to spend time with’. Brian Koppelman: What Really Matters [The Knowledge Project Ep. #83]

Good quotes and so true. There’s something satisfying about thinking “what if” and trying it out. I think that’s why I enjoy improv quilting; there are no rules, no set instructions to follow (for the most part) – it’s just playing with fabric and seeing where it goes. Enjoy your day!
