Here is a piece of exciting news.

Some time towards the end of July, I will become a Grandma.

Of course, this means knitting but, having only had babies myself during the colder months, it’s hard to get to grips with the idea of trying to keep a newborn cool. So I’m knitting some 3-6 month pieces in colours that can be for a boy or prettied up a bit for a girl.

I suspect I won’t be missing so many Wool on Sundays as I did last year!

    Congratulations!! My babies are out in Los Angeles and don’t “need” quilts but I am making them anyway. Our little girl will be here in just a few weeks. I’ll wait until she arrives to start her quilt. If I knew how to knit, I’d be doing that now. Your little sweater is lovely. You can just knit non stop now, lol.
