Last year, around this time, I wrote a small story called ‘The Figgy Gosling’ but I didn’t share it here because I didn’t have time to make pictures. Somehow, a year has rolled by and I haven’t got much further…
But I do like to make a Mid Winter post and mark the fact that our shortest day is over so here is the Figgy Gosling, with his story and further illustrations to follow. (Thank you to The Graphics Fairy for the holly :) )

Figgy Gosling……such a fabulous name! I suppose with your Winter Solstice done and dusted, your part of the world will begin to get lighter and brighter…..yes?? I cannot wait to read the story of Figgy Gosling!
