Some Views from a Gondala

IMG_2652 copy

Well, it’s a far cry from the Rainbow Hare Makery, the city of Venice. So much so that I’m almost at a loss for what to say or where to begin. So, whilst I collect my thoughts and organise my photos, I will start simply with a selection of views from a gondala :)

I will be linking this post with Fiona from Celtic Thistle Stitches for New to Me in 2018.

Edited to add: Also ‘New to Me’, I hate the way WordPress scrambles up the format and images in a post for email subscribers. It doesn’t seem to be possible to have a page break only in emails so, today, I attempted to solve that by selecting ‘show summary’  for each article in a feed. Now it has emailed not only the whole slideshow in a random layout but also included pictures that are not even in this post :(

I’ve never sat in a gondala, so it’s really nice to see these pictures!! Must be great fun!
Can’t really help you out with the emailproblem, I’m using Blogger and I don’t even have a mailsubscription on my blog… I’m way behind ;-) Good luck on it!
Have a very nice Sunday Janine!

Oh, Janine! I’ve never been to Venice, so it was lovely to see your pictures. It always makes me wonder how those buildings are still standing with all the plaster gone and the cement being worn away between the bricks!
Can’t help with the email problems …. not at all technically minded, tee hee! I wouldn’t even know how to make a slide show! Mind you, I’m using Blogger not WordPress!
    Thanks for sharing.
