Welcome to Wool on Sundays!
This week I decided to try out a variation of the Small Crochet Purse Tute – a fancy flower for if I go to the opera or something…!
And I was quite pleased with it until I put it down on a pretty vintage table cloth and saw the first roses of Summer opening in the garden.
Now I’m thinking it looks a bit dull and jaded and perhaps the back is nicer.
I suppose if I ever do go to an opera it will probably be quite dark :)
If you have any wool or yarn themed posts this week, I’d love you to link up. The rules, as usual, are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). MOST IMPORTANT Visit anyone else who links.

The purse is gorgeous, Janine! It looks wonderful on your vintage table cloth and I don’t think it looks dull at all. It’s beautiful as are your garden roses :)

Very pretty, front and back. I like the close-ups of your roses, too.

P.S. I’m hoping I will be able to contribute to Wool on Sundays this week :) I just need a bit more get-to-it-ness
