Welcome to Wool on Sundays 74 and thank you to everyone who visited last week :)
On Wednesday, I managed to finish and send off the Caravan tute and there’s been a lot of catching up to do with ‘real’ work and around the house after being away so much in June – especially in the garden – but little by little, I hope, we are getting back to normal…
And little by little my blanket, inspired by The Coco Rose Diaries is growing…
I’m joining as I go, which is making the colour placement tricky and it is evolving into a random shape with lots of gaps to be decided on once it’s a bit bigger but I know this will save me weeks of arranging and re-arranging of blocks at the end. And I’m hoping to get it to bed size by the Winter but I’ll have to see how it goes. At the moment, I’m just enjoying having a project with no pressure and no deadline.
If you are working on any yarn projects, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). Visit anyone else who links. Wishing you a happy week :)

These squares are so pretty, Janine. I love the grey background; it goes perfectly with the colours of the flowers you have chosen. This is going to be another gorgeous blanket…..how do you do it!!

What do you mean you 'sent off' your pattern? Are you getting it printed?
I am sorry I forgot to put the button in… that's the problem when my sunday is a day ahead of yours! I will remember next time!

The soft grey yarn is very successful as a background for the blocks. I hope the placement goes well as it would be so difficult to unpick the blocks to alter their positions later- rather you than me!

I also like to join as I make the blocks. If I finish making all the blocks first, I think I would go crazy trying to figure out the placing of each block. I like the combination of the soft grey and the pretty colours on your blanket.
