Wool on Sundays – 46 (A Year Tomorrow!)

A Start!

Welcome to Wool on Sundays 46!

I just wondered about this and checked back and can you believe that tomorrow we will have had a year of Wool on Sundays?
I see that, in my first Wool on Sundays post, I wrote:

Instead, I’ve decided to start WOOL ON SUNDAYS. From Monday to Saturday each week Rainbow Hare will carry on unchanged with my usual mix of sewing quilting and random and I’ll save anything related to wool or yarn for Sundays – so if you’re a quilting friend who doesn’t like knitting you’ll know to skip my Sunday posts!

At the time, I wasn’t actually expecting anyone to link up or comment on these Sundays posts so I’m extremely pleased and very grateful to everyone who has joined in by linking up yarn projects or leaving encouraging comments. Perhaps we will have a small giveaway next week to celebrate :)
This week I have made a little progress on my colourful shawl (I should have made more but for spending an inordinate amount of time on a fiasco that I am calling Lily’s Vardo, which I will share another day).
And I have also made a good start on something else that I’ve had planned for a long time – if anyone can guess what it is, I’ll give them a prize!

Have you got any yarn projects to share? If so, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). Visit anyone else who links. Wishing you a happy week :)

Wishing you a happy and yarnful week!

Your new 'pretty' is looking pretty. I love the sound of your “fiasco” Lily's Vardo…sounds fascinating. Mmm…..as for your new project; haven't got a clue…..something to do with Granny Square??! I am afraid that you have got me stumped! Happy anniversary, Janine!

Happy Anniversary!! I look forward to reading every Sunday! Lily's Vardo sounds interesting. Despite the fiasco you did a fine job with the shawl. So for fun I am going to try a guess on that new project of yours – is that sheep wool?
