Wool on Sundays – 8 (A touch of colour)

Welcome to another Wool on Sundays and Thanks to everyone who stopped by last week :)

This week I’ve been finishing off some projects. To begin with something part woolly, part sewing. Although I didn’t manage a sewing post this week I’ve got a LOT of felt birds ready to fly away now but I really need a day with some decent light to take some photos…

And I also have three pairs of felt mittens/fingerless mittens finished…

Apart from that I’ve mostly been indulging my latest obsession – crochet. I love that I can pick it up and put it down and crochet on car journeys. That is really extending the time I manage to devote to textile projects. So, today, a touch of colour and a sneak peek but next week I’m hoping for a really colourful post!

If you have any woolly thoughts or projects, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are:

1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn.
2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics.
3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up.
4). Visit everyone else who links.

Wishing you a very happy week :)

Janine, that crochet project looks lovely, I can't wait to see what you've been up to. The colours are beautiful and really eye-catching.
I really wish I knew how to change colours on a crochet project, but alas, I don't – any chance of a tutorial on how to?

They are such colorful projects!! I love the mittens. I am hoping to get back to knitting and sewing soon. Expect a bit of comment-spamming from me as I catch up on reading blog posts :)

    Have a lovely Sunday!
