Welcome to MAKING CHRISTMAS, 2013, WEEK 4.
This lovely mug rug from Vera at Negligent Style has a clever pocket in the back to pop in a letter or card.

Whilst you’re there, don’t forget to link up with your updated lists and your makes. Every time you link up you’ll get another entry for the randomly drawn prize and I’m only pinning to the Pinterest board from posts that have linked up :)
Here is my updated list:
THINGS I WANT TO MAKE BEFORE CHRISTMASCrow ornaments for Halloween 3 FINISHED
Finish felt bird and heart decorations
Rainbow Hare Rolls 4 FINISHED
Pouches 5 FINISHED
Cushion Covers
Something to be decided with my son’s logo on
Knitted Scarf FINISHED
Knitted Shawlette started and undone…
Wall Quilt – added FINISHED
Secret Gift – added FINISHED
I started and finished the red scarf and finished my secret project from last week – the bird organiser.
I also started my shawlette, which I’m making from a great pattern I won from the lovely Nat at Made in Home. Unfortunately, it has met a cat and come off a little the worse for the encounter so I’ve done some unknitting but now I’m wondering whether to carry on with it in this charcoal. I’ve seen some beautiful colourful, striped shawls on pinterest lately and I’m wondering whether to unpick this and start again with different yarn…
Sandra :)
That charcoal yarn is quite rich and lovely – the shawl looks like it survived kitty really well, so I think you should finish that one :D
I got 2 little girl aprons finished yesterday (in gingerbread man fabric), and today I made a gingerbread dolly to go with one of them. I have enough fleece to make 2 more, so those will be added to my gift box. Tomorrow I'm making a drawstring bag and gift tag with some of the fabric scraps, so that particular gift – apron + matching dolly – will be done and wrapped and crossed off the list :)

You are doing such a great job with the list. I started knitting the sweater again.
Beautiful red scarf. Oh dear, I have to keep my knitting safely tucked away from my kitties. I love the color of the shawl, looks really classic. I think the design shows better on a solid color. You could make the design on a brighter solid, that would look pretty too.

I keep changing my darn list! Makes it hard to be successful. Oh well, wouldn't be me if I didnt go with the flow. :)
