MAKING CHRISTMAS, 2013. WEEK 2

Welcome to MAKING CHRISTMAS, 2013, WEEK 2.

A big Thank You to everyone who linked up last week. It was great to see all your lists and I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone has been making this week.
Today’s MAKING CHRISTMAS is being hosted by Rebecca over at Making Rebecca Lynne. She has a fabulous, colourful post with lots of inspiration to make your Halloween, this year, the most beautiful ever so be sure to visit her!

Don’t forget to link up your updated lists and your makes from last week :)

My list is now looking like this:

I’ve crossed off crow ornaments (blogged here)…

And I’ve put a 4 next to Rainbow Hare Rolls. I haven’t crossed them off because I may make
some more, although I’ve given so many of these as gifts I probably can’t give them again this year!

crow roll, blogged here
retro sewing roll

I’ve also added a new project, which really should have been top of the list because I planned to make it last year and never got started on it. This is what it’s looking like so far…

Congrats on the finishes :) I think all of our gifting lists are fluid – right up until the time we actually deliver the gifts, lol! I may even have changed my list once or twice after the recipient got their gift — you never know when inspiration will strike!

I know about not wanting to give the same item year after year – I'm addicted to making zipper bags and unless I do something really REALLY different than previous finishes, I'm fairly certain my recipients open packages while praying to the sewing machine gods that Sandra isn't trying to force yet another zipper pouch on them :D My new trick is to tuck gift cards or other small items inside the pouch – who could complain then? ;)
