Well, this is not the most exciting Wool on Sundays post, but it’s a wool finish and it’s Sunday.

A coat and blanket for the Christmas doll. The hood has really not turned out very well but I don’t think the recipient will mind. We have relations over from Canada, an extra dog staying, more guests later in the week and about about a dozen birthday events (some of which were postponed several times during lockdowns) so I have no time to frog! I am enjoying catching up with people in real life, though, and hoping we can have Christmas this year…
I did have high hopes for more finishes this month but, now, I think I’d better concentrate on making a quilt for the Endeavourers Reveal day on November 1st and anything else will be a bonus.
I hope you are keeping happy and well :)

You have a lot on your plate, Janine…..and a quilt finish to be done in about 7 days time…good luck! You stopped me in my tracks when I read you have an extra dog staying with you. =) How fun…a playmate for Poppy. But to all things woolly. I love the little jacket and the hood. I wouldn’t have known that something is amiss if you hadn’t told me. Such a pretty blanket, too. Enjoy your visitors; sounds wonderful.

Sometimes it is just better and more therapeutic to knit on than frog. Enjoy your time with your guests and I am sure the furry house guest is keeping you busy.
