It’s the longest day of the year and it seems like the longest time since I’ve been here.
It’s the season of the annual battle between making and the garden, here at Rainbow Hare, and this year the garden (aided and abetted by two or three days a week looking after my little granddaughter) has won.
There has been a little making off and on though. I made this out of old boxes and some cardboard from one of envelopes that say ‘DO NOT BEND’ and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I will explain what it is once I’ve made a bit more progress…
In the meantime, I hope you are staying safe and well and life is returning to something more like normal.

My guess would be that the make is a shop counter – it looks great and the garden looks wonderful!!

Janine, your mid Summer garden is looking gorgeous. This mid Winter girl cannot wait till it is mid Summer here. As always, you are imagining…..working your brand of magic out of cardboard and paint. Whatever it is, (though I have my suspicions) I cannot wait to see the finished result.
