Wool on Sundays – 173 (Knitting Again)

Welcome to Wool on Sundays!

It’s been a long time since I’ve knitted anything but, this week, I have finished a baby cardigan and hat.

I had a request from my daughter for a cardigan in a dark colour or anything except pink as my little granddaughter, who is now 3 months old, has only pink cardigans and jumpers in the next size.

I knitted in Drops Merino Extra Fine in Denim Blue and used the First Snow pattern from Garnstudio for the size. For the pattern I used the design from a book called ‘Vintage Baby Knits’, which I made up in pink a couple of years ago for another little girl.

Nows the days have grown so dreary and the nights so long, perhaps I will find myself knitting more again…

I hope you are keeping safe and well :)

(If you subscribe to my blog by email, firstly, thank you :) Secondly, I really recommend you view the web version because otherwise you end up with a random scramble of photos and I don’t know how to stop that happening).

I suppose baby girls are inundated with pretty pink pretties, aren’t they. Why if I was a wee little bairn I would love to be pushed around in town sporting your gorgeous blue outfit. Such a pretty blue, Janine and the pattern is lovely. ‘Tis nice to see you knitting up a storm again. =)
