Welcome to Wool on Sundays and many thanks for the kind comments about my ripple blanket last week :)
Lately, it seems that I am constantly kept from sewing, blogging or wool work by one thing after another. The most fun of these things was going to a Steam Fair. It was a big family outing to celebrate my Dad’s Birthday and even Poppy got to go on a steam train (which did not impress her) and to ride on a Merry-Go-Round!
And why am I telling you this on a Sunday? Well, things are a bit dull around here on the Wool front. You may remember that I started some rustic lace blocks.
This is still my ‘portable project’ and I have slowly been adding to the collection and arranging…
and rearranging…
I hope there will be something more woolly and colourful to share soon!
Have you had time for any yarn making this week?
If so, I’d love you to link up. The rules, as usual, are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). MOST IMPORTANT visit anyone else who links.

Happy Sunday! Sometime life just gets in our way of crafting , doesn’t it? I feel a bit scattered with my projects right now–casting on right and left! I tried to link up but not sure my link is going to go through?

I got nuthin’. Nadda. No yarny stuff. I’m 2 months behind on stitching my temp afghan but I AM logging daily temperatures.Really 2 months is only 60 rows and I can fly through that. Once the weather cools off. We are having constant high 80s and low 90s with HIGH humidity. Does not make you want to put a blanket on your lap!
Love that you had a day of play. Yay you!!

A Very Happy Birthday to your dad!! The fair photos look great, so colourful. However did you get Poppy on a Merry-Go-Round? That must have been exhausting for her. I love the photos of her sleeping amongst your lovely squares :)
