Welcome to Wool on Sundays 29 and Thank you very much to everyone who stopped by last week!
This week I managed to finish a pair of simple blue socks – no bells, no whistles, no homage to
Dr Seuss – just stocking stitch with garter stitch toes and heels and a large (4×4) rib at the top. If anyone is interested in the pattern I used or other stats, I’ll let you know by email because this is going to be a Christmas present and I don’t want to give away who it is for!
I hope no one minds but, today, I’m doubling up this post with with my June
Ho, Ho, Ho And On We Sew link up, which is open until the end of the month at Martha’s blog,
Weekend Doings. I’m also showing the lovely mini charms because I was lucky enough to win them in last month’s Ho, Ho, Ho link up.

Have you started knitting for Christmas yet?
If you have any wool or yarn projects this week, Christmassy or not, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are:
1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn.
2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics.
3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up.
4). Visit anyone else who links.
Wishing you a happy week :)

Christmas! You must be joking! I'd love the socks and have never knitted any myself. Looks a bit too complicated. Lucky you to win the charms

I love those socks. I've always meant to tackle making some but have never actually done so, but then I'm lucky that my MIL knits lots for us so I don't really have too much need to make any myself.

I love the colour of those socks. I wish I had a pair right now. I have made absolutely nothing Christmas related, as yet, but, even if I do, knitted gifts will probably not make the list. I can't imagine many knitted gifts that would be fully appreciated in the middle of Summer :)

HAHAHA when I first looked at the socks, without having read the post, I wondered how on earth you managed to sew Christmas fabric onto them, which then made me wonder how they would stand up to going through the washer and dryer, LOL. They're very pretty – with or without the fabric :D
