MAKING CHRISTMAS, 2013 – THE FINALE!

MAKING CHRISTMAS 2013

Welcome to THE FINALE of Making Christmas, 2013!

It seems a long time ago since we started this Hop but I can hardly believe how many things we all made in less than three months and I know that, at least in my case, all the encouragement, enthusiasm and inspiration of everyone who joined in went a very long way to making Christmas 2013 a much more handmade celebration than it would have been otherwise. The pinterest board will certainly be keeping me busy with all the tutes and makes I didn’t have time to fit in this year.

Firstly, I’d like to say a special Thank you to my lovely co-host REBECCA from Making Rebecca Lynne – without Rebecca this Hop would never have got off the ground – and to our wonderful weekly hosts:

KRISTY – Quiet PlayM-R – Quilt MattersSOMA – Whims and FanciesFIONA – Celtic Thistle StitchesNAT – Made in HomeERIN – Missy Mac Creations, LUCY – Charm About You and SUSAN – The Bored Zombie

Secondly, I’d like to announce the winner, who has been selected by Mr Random

Congratulations to Emma at Happy Go Lucky Quilter Emma will receive the Following:

1. KRISTY from Quiet Play and ALYCE from Blossom Heart Quilts have kindly offered a copy of their wonderful Christmas patterns – Sew Seasonal/Ornamental.
2. SOMA from Whims and Fancies, has offered two stunning paper pieced patterns – Geese around the Sun and Morning Star
3. I will send Emma four fat quarters of quilting fabric.

And, finally, I’m putting up a linky for anyone wants to share their secret projects or post a mosaic of their Christmas Makes. All I have left to show is these socks!
I’d appreciate any thoughts on whether you would like to Make Christmas again this year and, if so so, any suggestions for improving it.
I wish you all a very happy year of sewing!

Loved the concept and already want to plan ahead for next year. (Its Solstice for me, and the same timing as Christmas). It was great fun for me and I do look forward to joining up with you later this year!

Oh no how did I miss this!!! I've been blog MIA lately…I think I got much more accomplished on my Making Christmas list than I actually ever shared online…it was one of those years where I failed in documenting. Thank you so much Janine – I always love working with you!
