This is a post about small projects
A little pin cushion made from a small piece of blackwork stitched in variegated blue/purple thread and a kona charm square.
And my other finish this week was these three sewing cases, blogged in my last post. They are embellished with buttons but no hand stitching, except the binding.

Very pretty pincushion! I wish I had more patience for embroidery, because it really does look gorgeous. And your sewing cases are lovely, as well! So bright and colorful. Thanks for stopping by my blog and linking up today. :)

I love the blackwork, I have several patterns for blackwork but have never got around to doing any of them. I might have to dig them out and have another look at them after seeing your photos!
