High Hopes

Well, 2025 was not the best making year at Rainbow Hare. I fear that back in the day I had bigger mosaics for the month some months…

But, here in the Makery, we have high hopes (Poppy, Fiona, Mrs Hare and I) because now we have our pink table and our joyful curtains and everything organised and in its proper place.

And we have high hopes because we have our resolution to be Merry and Bright.

And we have high hopes because we can’t let time keep rushing by as it has been and we are really quite certain that 2026 is going to be our year!

My Fettle list would, ideally, be a Blog System Restore to before covid but, starting from where we are now, it is:

  • Be more social in Blogland – at least one post a month + visiting!
  • Make some more letters for the writing on the wall banner.
  • One SAHRR quilt.
  • Four Endeavourers quilts.
  • Finish the Stocking.
  • Finish a baby clothes blanket.
  • Make some progress on the miniatures.
  • Make some more patterns.
  • Hold a spectacular party!

If you have a list of things you want to get done, this year, why not go and link up at Archie the Wonder Dog and join in with the fettling :)

Happy making!

(If you subscribe to my blog by email, firstly, thank you :) Secondly, I really recommend you view the web version because otherwise you end up with a random scramble of photos and I don’t know how to stop that happening).

Your Fettle List is impressive, and I also have some of those goals (they seem perennial). And remind me again what fettle really means, as I love the sound of that word and want to use it properly. I loved seeing all your photos and will never tire of your gardens, miniatures, and your banners. Carry on!
