Happy Sunday!

For this week’s SAHRR border, Emily chose triangles and I used the hsts that I had left over from the signature blocks.

Last week I missed the linky party with Anja @ Anja Quilts partly because I had relations staying but mostly because I discovered my QAYG idea wasn’t so great as I had first thought.
I had to get everything joined together and square before I could attach my signature blocks and then the wadding made it bulky and awkward to piece. Now I have quilted/sewn round all the double wedding ring circles but I need to add more wadding before I can quilt anymore and I’m going to wait to do that until I’ve added next week’s border.
At the moment it’s really all looking a bit of a mess but, hopefully, it will all come right in the end!

I’m planning to make this quilt about 60″ and it is now 41″ so with three more rounds to go I should be able to keep on track.

Today I am linking up with Emily @ The Darling Dogwood very much at the eleventh hour and I’ll visit the links tonight and tomorrow evening.
Next week I will try to get to the party sooner :)

(If you subscribe to my blog by email, firstly, thank you :) Secondly, I really recommend you view the web version because otherwise you end up with a random scramble of photos and I don’t know how to stop that happening).

The HSTs are perfect. I think you should be able to keep this right about where you want it to be – size wise!

Way to go Janine! Quilt as you go is not always easier but please link up to Free Motion Mavericks cause that counts too!

Your quilt, your timeline, but I’m glad you posted to the party. The quilt is looking wonderful. I especially like the asymmetry of the HST borders and the contrast of the light blue and white backgrounds

I love this! Your center is beautiful; nothing looks a mess at all! So great that you were able to use leftovers from a previous round.

Thank you. It’s quite wrinkly just now but I hope quilting will help!

Your quilt just makes me think of Spring. There’s just something about HSTs that adds a bit of dazzle to a quilt!
