Welcome to another Wool on Sundays and thank you to everyone who visited last week :)
This week my pile of granny squares has been growing.
After a while, I thought I’d better settle on what to turn them into. There were too many for sausage dogs and I really must finish my somewhat abandoned blanket-in-progress before beginning another big project so I thought perhaps a cowl would be nice.
But, perhaps something was missing…
And the grey seems to tome them down a bit.
Although once I’d made it long enough for a cowl I thought it looked a bit random – like a large polo neck so then I decided I’d have to make it long enough for a double loop or a scarf…
It’s nearly finished so, hopefully, I’ll have a ta-da next week.
I’m publishing this post now (Saturday night) because I’ll be out all day tomorrow and my scheduling attempts never seem to work. I hope you have a lovely week and if you have any yarn projects, I’d love you to link up.The rules as usual are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). Visit anyone else who links. Wishing you a happy week :)
