Welcome to another Wool on Sundays and if you’re in the UK I hope you enjoyed your extra hour today :)
Today, I can reveal that the funny crochet shapes in last week’s post were meant to ears.
Last week, I thought I’d make a batch of ear owners for my shop but I have only finished one so far and and even she is too late for day time photos but I will show her in ‘real’ colours in another post.
If I hadn’t got distracted and made a cushion, perhaps I’d have finished her earlier…
You may notice she has no feet…
That is because her skirt unzips so she can be used as a pyjama case or project bag.
Meanwhile, Fiona has taken to using her new bed, which is cleverly disguised as a WIP box. At this moment, however, she is sleeping on the keyboard making it hard for me to reach the ‘q’, ‘w’, ‘a’, ‘z’ or whatever is to the left of those keys. Perhaps we need a cat bed disguised as a laptop now…
Have you been working with wool or yarn this week?
If so, I’d love you to link up. The rules, as usual, are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). MOST IMPORTANT visit anyone else who links.

I did not see ears, although … I should have, LOL! She’s adorable, but let’s just hope she behaves with that zip-open skirt! I think she’s been raised well, so it *should* be ok – oh my! ;)
I have a yarn story for this week! We were at a family get-together today, and the 8 year old great nephew handed me a red/green/white scarf – I couldn’t understand why he was showing it to me, until he told me HE KNIT IT HIMSELF! On knitting needles! He did a great job, and I wore it all afternoon :D I was having hot flashes on and off (I had to keep running outside to cool down, lol) so the scarf didn’t help, but it pleased him so much that I didn’t mind :)

Oh you brought back a fond memory. Years ago when my daughter was little I made so many pajama bags!! One Christmas I gave them to all her friends and her cousins. I have to admit that mine were all fabric…no knitting involved. I just love how you incorporated your knitting in this design. These will sell like hotcakes!!

She’s beautiful Janine! I didn’t guess last week that those were ears though. 😊

This reminds me of a pyjama case I had as a child that I hadn’t thought of for years – what a great idea. And I love that she is a rabbit.- there’s something very appealing about her.

Bunny ears! How clever! Love the bunny and the pyjama case. She looks wonderful. I like Fiona’s new bed very much, so festive! She looks very comfy in it too. So sweet that she loves to be close to you when you work :)

Oh you are clever. So that’s what your ‘little woollies’ are. Love your bunny. She does have the sweetest dress. My jarmies wouldn’t mind at all living in this pretty. Fiona’s new bed is cute. Much more comfier than keys of a lap top.
