Welcome to another Wool on Sundays :)
Thank you to everyone who visited last week and thanks especially to those who linked up. In case you missed them, I’ve copied the links below…
I’ve made a small amount of progress on the Rustic Lace blanket but I’m questioning my colour choices. I wanted to make something a bit different from my usual bright multi- coloured projects so I’ve been using cool colours as background with brighter centres but I’m feeling it’s all a bit dull. I hope it will come together once I’ve joined more blocks.
I’m very much hoping that this week I’ll will be able to tip the balance back from gardening to crafting but I’m not overly optimistic.
Have you had time for any yarn making this week?
If so, I’d love you to link up. The rules, as usual, are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). MOST IMPORTANT visit anyone else who links.

Hi Janine
Sometimes it’s just hard to get accustomed to stitching with color out of your comfort zone. Possibly mixing brights and muted colors is what is bothering you. I personally like the pop of color, as I hardly ever select muted or neutral color for anything. Hopefully you will like it better as you go. It’s hard to work on a project that you don’t absolutely love.
xx, Carol

I like them, the ‘dull’ colours make the bright ones pop. I wish I had some exciting yarny goings on to share with your wool on Sundays but I’m afraid this week’s offerings aren’t up to much. x

They are not dull at all! I think the muted colours pop the bright ones wonderfully. Hopefully as it grows, the bright colours will catch your eyes more and you will like it better. It looks very lovely to me :)
