Wool on Sundays – 92 (the night before)

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to Wool on Sundays and thank you very much to everyone who has visited and linked up this year.

The Christmas Tree, above, was going to be a cushion but I realised last night that it was the night before the last Wool on Sundays before Christmas so, instead, it has become a virtual Christmas card! And, since I have nothing else woolly that I haven’t shown here already, I took a few pictures around the house.

I’d love you to link up with any yarnful posts and I will keep this week’s linky open until the beginning of January. The rules, as usual, are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). Visit anyone else who links.

Wishing you a wonderful midwinter holiday :)

Lovely photos of vignettes of your home. I love the decorated staircase….I would love to walk up there and have a bo peep into your rooms. Oh how glorious your tree looks sparkling and all a-glow in the window and your decorations throughout are lovely. Those birds in the tree are very sweet; as is your puppy snuggled up in her basket. It has been a delight to visit your place each week, Janine. I look forward to seeing more woolly gorgeousness in the new year. Have a lovely Christmas. Xx

What sweet decorations in your house – especially the snowman and greenery on the bannister, and of course the sleeping pupper, lol. Have a wonderful Christmas! It's green here now … which is unusual, and in fact it poured rain today – very unusual, lol. I'm not complaining though – I don't mind that we haven't got any of the white stuff yet! ;)

    Cute Tree.

My 9 year old daughter is currently knitting herself a headband – her first proper knitting project. I'm very proud of how she is sticking to it. We went to the library the other day and she borrowed a knitting book written specifically for kids, so I imagine she will be knitting a few more fun things these school holidays.

    Have a merry Christmas!
