Wool on Sundays – 88 (growing grannies)

Welcome to another Wool on Sundays and thank you to everyone who visited last week :)

This week my pile of granny squares has been growing.

 

After a while, I thought I’d better settle on what to turn them into. There were too many for sausage dogs and I really must finish my somewhat abandoned blanket-in-progress before beginning another big project so I thought perhaps a cowl would be nice.

 

But, perhaps something was missing…

 

And the grey seems to tome them down a bit.

 

Although once I’d made it long enough for a cowl I thought it looked a bit random – like a large polo neck so then I decided I’d have to make it long enough for a double loop or a scarf…
It’s nearly finished so, hopefully, I’ll have a ta-da next week.

    One mistake that I used to make when trying to schedule is this. After you schedule the time, you actually have to click Publish. Seems wrong to me, but now I have no problem scheduling.

    Grannies can be addictive. I have made so many over the years I thought I would never want to make more. I recently came across a new and unique block so I should know to NEVER say NEVER!!
