Wool on Sundays – 60 (spot the difference)

this week
last week
Welcome to another Wool on Sundays and thank you to everyone who visited last week :)
I don’t have anything very interesting to share this week in that I’m at a similar stage to last week with the yellow cardigan and I’ve done nothing else yarnwise.

The good news, however, is that this week I’m much more confident that it’s going to fit and, although it’s bigger, it seems to be using about the same amount of wool. After frogging such a lot, I couldn’t bring myself to make it exactly the same so I’ve switched the moss stitch edging for a 2×2 rib and a garter stitch button band, which I prefer, and now I’m roughly where I was before I can start to feel that I’m making progress with this again.

The other good news is that apparently we will be getting superfast broadband by the end of April. I’m not overly concerned with speed but so often I start writing an email or commenting on a blog, let alone writing a post, and get cut off and have to revisit… So (assuming we do actually end up getting it), if having superfast means we will be reliably connected to the internet for prolonged periods of time that will be amazing – perhaps it’ll even give me some extra time!

I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are: 1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn. 2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics. 3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up. 4). Visit anyone else who links. Wishing you a happy week :)

Your cardigan is looking fabulous; your on the downhill knitting slope now. Good news re your broad band…..let's hope that fast means all those big hiccups disappear.

So glad that the cardigan is not so stressful this week – it is looking great! Good news on the internet front. I am hoping we will get connected some time soon too – more download and not have to pay a small fortune for it each month! Oh well, the pleasures of living rural!

My parents finally got upgraded in their area and now my Dad is having a blast watching movies on Netflix. I hope yours is speedy! You know, I used to knit sweaters when I was a teen but when I consider it now I would be so worried about getting it to fit. I have a poncho that I want to make… think that will be the closest thing for now.
