Wool on Sundays – 40 (quick and blue)

Welcome to Wool on Sundays 40!

I’m sorry if anyone came to link up earlier. I scheduled this post for this morning but just arrived home to find our router needed to be re-started and it hadn’t posted. The good news is that the long awaited high speed broadband has reached our exchange – the bad news is that we are ‘too rural’ and they can’t say how long it’ll be before it gets to us but ‘maybe a year’…

My yarn projects this week have quite a lot in common. They are all blue, all quick and all related to a scarves. The cowel/infinity scarf (top picture) is something I started last Winter. It was going to be an ordinary scarf but I ran out of wool and wasn’t able to find anything matching or coordinating. I came across it this week and decided just to sew the ends together.

The unexpected sheep were made from the ends of the log basket scarf and are also blue and quick. You may have met them here on Friday.

It’s probably time I got back to the socks but it’s been nice to have a couple of fast finishes!

Do you have any yarn or wool projects in progress. If so, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are:

1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings or photos – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn.
2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics.
3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up.
4). Visit anyone else who links.

Wishing you a happy week :)

I love the soft look of the cowl. Which yarn did you use? I have such a huge quantity of yarn in various bags around the house that I must use up some of it. Commiserations on the broadband thing. We are rural too and in the end we got a satellite connection with help from the Welsh government.
