Welcome to Wool on Sundays 23.
Today I had fully expected to be at home sharing the flower blocks blanket, which is finished, excepting that I have a few more ends to sew in. But instead, I’m somewhere else with a very red sofa…
On Friday night, Mr RH decided he needed to go to a meeting in Hull. As one of our daughters is at uni, here, so I thought I’d come too and we had a plan to arrive around lunchtime yesterday and make a weekend of it.
What actually happened is that we left home yesterday morning at about 7.00am, had something go wrong with the car, waited a few hours for roadside assistance and arrived in Hull just after 4.00pm. Too late to go to some museums as we’d planned but, fortunately, we had plenty of time for an evening with our daughter and we had a very nice meal. The other bonus was that I got quite a lot of crochet done in the car whilst waiting for the recovery man.
If you have any wool or yarn projects to share, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are:
1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn.
2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics.
3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up.
4). Visit anyone else who links.
Wishing you a yarnful week :)

We were in the same region this weekend too visiting Skipton. Love the sexy red sofa. I'm sure you enjoyed the visit to your daughter and you managed all that lovely crochet- are they mandalas?

Do tell….did you lie languidly on that gorgeous red sofa at all?? That's the best thing with knitting/crocheting…you can pull it out whenever and wherever!! Hope that jalopy of yours is behaving itself now!!
