Every time I’ve tried to knit or sew anything I’ve been obstructed and interrupted to the extent that I almost feel like selling all my fabric and giving up so I’m very envious of all those bloggers with supportive and encouraging partners. But onwards and upwards – hopefully next week will be better.
I have a drawer of tapestry wool, from a former life – perhaps you have one too? – and I don’t expect to do any needlepoint any time soon so I decided to try crocheting with it. I actually preferred crocheting with wool to cotton and I settled for the design above because I have a very limited amount of yarn in any one colour and I hope this pattern has blended the colours together. It would be bizarrely expensive to buy this yarn for crochet but, to me, it’s sort of free. I’ve gone about as big as I can in this colourway so I’m going to make it into a smallish cushion.
The other colours can languish for another time!
What have you been working on this week?
If you have any yarn makes, this week, finished or not, I’d love you to link up with WOOL ON SUNDAYS. The rules as usual are:
1). Posts must include some content – makes or musings – related to knitting, crochet, felting, spinning or yarn.
2). Projects sewn from felt or wool fabric or stitchery using wool are also welcome but please don’t link posts that are exclusively about sewing, quilting and fabrics.
3). Posts don’t have to be from the past week but please put a link to WOOL ON SUNDAYS or grab the button from my sidebar and include it in or at the bottom of any posts you link up.
4). Visit anyone else who links.
Wishing you a creative week :)

What a great way to use up tapestry wool! I'm knitting at the moment so once I've finished and blog about it (or not finished and blog about it!) then I'll link up to WoS!
