It seems like a long time since I’ve written a WIP post but I’m glad to say I’m WIP-ing again!
I’ve got two finishes – some blocks for Rosa, my bee friend in Scrappy? Sew Bee it! which is based on this quilt at Red Pepper. And two very simple cushions made from half a yard of Melody Miller’s View Finder from Ruby Star Rising. When I finished the first one I thought one of my daughters would like it but I fell in love with it too so I made another one for me!
Now in progress, I have finally cut into this Trade Winds (by Lily Ashbury for Moda) which I bought back in the Summer when I was lucky enough to win a competition hosted by Jenna from Sew Happy Geek.
Today a bunch of hsts, hopefully soon a quilt top.
Now I’m going to link up with Lee at Freshly pieced for WIP Wednesday. It’s being hosted today by Svetlana who blogs at S.O.T.A.K handmade.

Love those block- the little bright squares are just wonderful. And the pillows are lovely, too! I feel like all I want to do lately is make pillows :)
Glad to see that you have been able to get back to your sewing again. I can see why you had to make a second cushion!

Love the Trade Winds fabrics and that you're using lots of the colours together. It's going to look fab :)
Lovely blocks. I'd seen the view finder discs fabric, and saw it as view finders, I didn't realise from a distance it looks like circles, the cushions look great too!
Now, I'm contemplating on cutting into my stash of Trade Wind as well :-)Could we have a peep of your pattern, please?
Happy WIPping! Love those log cabin blocks!
Oh, I love the pillows! For some projects you have to keep one for yourself :)
